designed, created and managed all taxonomy-related content--including

- Developed metadata for taxonomy node tags (taxonomy name, fundamental
type, node type, short description, long description, broader term,
narrower term, associated term, named entity, entity’s parent,
and latitude/longitude) and then also as tags within XML files for auto-categorization
of content.
- Identified and edited sample training documents for each taxonomy
node.
- Wrote taxonomy development policies and guidelines.
- Tested user interface and made recommendations for enhancements.
- Refined taxonomy synonyms and training documents to improve search
relevancies.
- Initiated partnerships with taxonomy vendors and third-party implementers.
